In a very short period of time, Pooja Hegde has become of the leading pan-India actresses of the entertainment industry. While the gorgeous lady has delivered blockbusters like Housefull 4, Ala Vaikunthaupurramuloo and is busy with biggies like Radhe Shyam, Acharya, Most Eligible Bachelor, Cirkus and Thalapathy 65, as per the latest reports she has signed Mahesh Babu's next, which will be directed by Trivikram Srivias and is tentatively titled SSMB 28. While the actress is yet to sign on the dotted lines, it is said that she has charged Rs 2.75 crore as her remuneration, which is Rs 25 lakh more than she is getting for Thalapathy Vijay-Nelson Dilipkumar film.
In fact, Pooja Hegde has become the second-highest paid Telugu actress with Mahesh Babu's project after Anushka Shetty, who charges Rs 3 crore per film. Talking about SSMB 28, the film is expected to go on floors in July or August and is produced by Suryadevara Radha Krishna (Chinna Babu) under Haarika & Hassine Creations. It marks the second collaboration between Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde after Maharshi.
Pooja Hegde is currently gearing for the release of Prabhas' Radhe Shyam, which is scheduled to release on July 30. The period love story also stars Sachin Khedekar, Murli Sharma, Bhagyashree, Kunaal Roy Kapur and Sasha Chhetri along with Sathyan and Priyadarshi in pivotal roles. The film is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar and will be released in mutliple dubbed languages. On the other hand, Mahesh Babu will be seen in Sarkaru Vaari Paata is expected to be a family entertainer. The actor will portray a larger-than-life character and will be seen romancing Mahanati actress Keerthy Suresh. He was last seen in Sarileru Neekevvaru, which also featured Dear Comrade and Geetha Govindam actress Rashmika Mandanna in pivotal roles.
