Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have been in a relationship for quite some time now. They are very much in love and marriage is on the cards. Before Alia, Ranbir had been in quite a few relationships. He was allegedly in a relationship with actress Katrina Kaif. Before that, he was with Deepika Padukone.
In an old interview with Filmfare, when Alia was asked about his past relationships, she said that it doesn't matter. She added that it's part of someone's life and who cares. "Aur main thodi na kam hoon," she stated. Now, this took us by surprise as not much is known about Alia's past relationships.
Speaking about her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor, she had said that it was not a relationship but a friendship. She had explained, "I'm saying this with all genuineness and honesty. It's beautiful. I'm walking on stars and clouds right now. The best part is that we're two individuals who are living our own professional lives in their full form right now. He's shooting continuously. So am I. It's not a situation where you'll see us constantly together. That's the true mark of a comfortable relationship. Nazar na lage."
Ranbir and Alia are supposed to marry after Brahmastra's release. A source told BollywoodLife earlier, "Indian weddings are like festivals and the prep doesn't get over till the last minute. The family may have begun the preparations, but there is no shaadi happening this year. Also, the Indian audience still gets excited about stars dating, and believe it or not, it does add buzz to a film's release. So, neither Ranbir or Alia are keen to dampen the buzz of their own movie after having invested so much of time and effort into Brahmastra as once couples get married, our audience tends to lose interest in their relationship. So, they're not likely to be a wedding until after Brahmastra releases."
