The Big Bull actress Nikita Dutta tests positive for COVID-19

Actress Nikita Dutta, who garnered fame for her portrayal in Shahid Kapoor's Kabir and is romancing Abhishek Bachchan in The Big Bull, has been tested positive for COVID-19. Well, in the past few weeks, we saw several Bollywood and TV celebs like Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Kartik Aaryan, Rupali Ganguly and others getting contracted with virus. Nikita Dutta came in contact with the virus while shooting for Rocket Gang with Aditya Seal, which marks the directorial debut of popular choreographer Bosco Martis.

Sharing her health update, the actress told an entertainment portal that she has been asked to quarantine for 10 days and again take a test. Nikita further added that it is difficult for them to maintain social distance to do any particular scenes and since they have to shoot without mask, the safety of the stars rest on the shoulders of the crew. The actress also revealed that she was about to fly to meet her mother, who was rushed to ICU due to some health complications but due to COVID she has to stay home. Though the said that she took a sigh of relief, when she came to know that it was not because of COVID.

Meanwhile, the actress is gearing up for the release of The Big Bull, which releases tomorrow on Disney + Hoststar. The film also stars Ileana D'Cruz, Soham Shah, Ram Kapoor, Supriya Pathak and Saurabh Shukla. It is based on the life and times of stockbroker Harshad Mehta. Harshad orchestrated the Rs 5,000-crore 1992 securities scandal, which led to the exposure of many loopholes in the functioning of the stock market and banks. It is directed by Kookie Gulati and produced by Ajay Devgn and Anand Pandit. We pray Nikita Dutta recovers soon and resumes her pending projects.
