K-Pop kings BTS is adored all over the globe. People cannot get enough of the talent and charm of the magnificent seven. But like every fit young man in South Korea, even they have to join compulsory military service. Experts predict that they might join next year as Jin turns 30. They have managed to get an exemption from the government that respects the role of the band in putting South Korea on the global map. Yoo Sung-man, an analyst from Leading Investment & Securities said that they could enlist together in mid 2022 as Jin turns 30 next year. Big Hit Music has refused to make a comment on the same.
Military service is something they have been asked about. BTS' Jin said that military service is a part of life for a Korean man and he is ready to respond if his nation needs him any time. The Military Service Act was amended in 2020 so that some K-Pop artists and celebs could postpone their mandatory military training till they turn 30. In South Korea, all young men have to do militry service for 20 months or so, till they are 28. The analyst said that their enrollment could not affect the parent company in a big manner. BTS is as popular as Beatles, Michael Jackson and some other global music icons. They could earn even when they were not actually making music.
It seems the K-Pop group Seventeen is touted as the next sensation to come out of South Korea. HYBE has a huge roster of artistes like TXT, Nu'est, GirlFriend and EnHypen. The firm bought the American record label, Ithaca Records. They also have Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande. BTS with members like Jin, Jimin, Suga, Jungkook, V, J-Hope and RM is a global craze. The boys coming from small towns and villages of South Korea have won over the world and how.
