Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte starrer Andhadhun is being remade in Telugu with Nithiin and Nabha Natesh, Tamannaah in the key roles. The filming took place in Hyderabad last month. Today, on the occasion of Ram Navami, the makers of Maestro decided to give a surprise to the fans. They dropped a new poster of Maestro. In the poster, we can see Nithiin and Nabha Natesh taking a bike ride. For the unversed, Nithiin has stepped into Ayushmann's character while Nabha plays Radhika's character from the original. Tamannaah, on the other hand, has stepped into the shoes of Tabu's character in the film. The makers tweeted out saying, "Love is Blind and Love doesn't Discriminate! #MAESTRO is on the way with his girl to wish you a Happy #SriRamaNavami." Krishnarjuna Yudham director Merlapaka Gandhi will be directing Maestro. Nithiin's father Sudhakar Reddy and sister Nikitha Reddy are producing the film under the banner of Shresht Movies. Apart from Nithiin, Nabha and Tamannaah, Maestro also stars Naresh, Jisshu Sengupta, Sreemukhi, Ananya, Harsha Vardhan, Mangli, Srinivasa Reddy to name a few.
On Nithiin's birthday, a couple of weeks ago, the makers had released the actor's look poster. Meanwhile, earlier, Tamannaah had opened up on playing Tabu's character in the Telugu remake of the Sriram Raghavan film. "I've always been an ardent fan of Tabu's work and its such an honour to reprise a role played by her. The original film has this psychological influence on people and succeeded in inducing a sense of curiosity. What I personally loved about the original film was the brilliance of the script and the screenplay, it had no hero or no villain," the Baahubali actress had said in a statement.
Talking about Andhadhun. The film was one of the most celebrated ones from 2018. It earned three national awards for Best Film, Best Actor and Best screenplay.
