Many television actors are testing positive for COVID-19. The latest to join them is Bigg Boss 14 contestant Nishant Singh Malkani. Yes, he has tested positive. In an interview with Bombay Times, Nishant Singh Malkani said that he was scheduled to travel to Goa for a shoot and hence, had to undergo a mandatory COVID-19 test, which came positive. He feels he wasn't destined to do the project and has now quarantined himself for 14 days. He shares that he has mild symptoms and had a sore throat and experienced weakness. He said he mistook it to be viral fever but is COVID-19. He didn't expect to be infected, as he had been quite careful and was home all through the lockdown. He feels the shoot turned out to be a blessing as he then took the test and learnt about being positive.
He underwent a test just because he was slated to travel for it. He has been following whatever he has heard and experienced with my loved ones and friends, who had tested positive for coronavirus which includes having kadha, warm water and milk with turmeric along with Vitamin C supplements and medicines prescribed by doctor. Earlier, his Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega co-star and best friend Kanika Mann had also tested positive for COVID-19. Recently, she tested negative and Nishant had taken good care of her. Nishant said that he was in touch with her family and was keeping them updated about her health. Nishant said Kanika is his neighbour is sure that now she will care of him and send him good and healthy food. He said that Kanika has no other option but to take care of him.
Nishant said that he is happy Kanika tested negative as she was in a very bad state and he couldn't see her like that. He said that he is a better condition than her and hence can recover well.
