Kumkum Bhagya actor Arjit Taneja tests POSITIVE for Coronavirus

Coronavirus is spreading in the country yet again and this time it is even worse. Last year too, we had been locked inside our homes and it seems this year again we will have to stay indoors. The deadly virus is affecting a lot of people and many have tested positive. Many have even lost their lives. We had heard of so many television and film actors testing positive and now Kumkum Bhagya actor Arjit Taneja is the latest to join the list. Arjit Taneja earlier played Purab in the show and was later replaced by Vin Rana. He was last seen as Fharista in Naagin 5. The actor took to Instagram and revealed that he has tested positive for COVID-19.

He has also asked all those who had met him recently to get themselves tested as per a precautionary step. Arjit Taneja wrote, "Unfortunately I have tested positive for COVID-19. I am under quarantine and following all necessary protocols. Followed all safety guidelines, but it is what it is. If you have come in contact with me recently then please get tested - for yourself and those around you. The virus is real and is spreading. Don't let your guard down. (I kind of did) Take care and be safe!!"

As soon as he shared the post, his friends from the industry, Vin Rana, Mrunal Thakur, Shraddha Arya, Supriya Shukla, Mouni Roy, Nia Sharma, Shardul Pandit, Shikha Singh, Mohit Sehgal, Vikaas Kalantari, Drashti Dhami, Jay Bhanushali, Ruchikaa Kapoor and others commented on the post and wished him a speedy recovery. Earlier too many TV actors like Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, Paras Kalnawat, Aashish Mehrotra, Abrar Qazi, Narayani Shastri and others had tested positive for COVID-19. We wish Arjit Taneja a speedy recovery.
