Amitabh Bachchan took the first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday and is now all set to begin shooting. Yes, the megastar has begun shooting for Ekta Kapoor's film, Goodbye. Along with him, Telugu actress Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in the film. The film's Mahurat shot took place yesterday. It was Rashmika Mandanna who started shooting for the film yesterday while Amitabh Bachchan will be joining the shoot on April 4th. The film will be directed by Vikas Bahl and this will be the reunion of Vikas Bahl and Ekta Kapoor, who have previously collaborated for critically acclaimed films like Lootera and Udta Punjab. Both Lootera and Udta Punjab got immense love from the audience.
Ekta Kapoor posted two pictures on Instagram. One of the pictures if of her childhood with Amitabh Bachchan and the next one is of their Mahurat shot. Along with the first picture she wrote, "This is how it started ........". She continued the caption with her second post and wrote, "..this is how it's ( hopefully) going????????! In a statement Ekta Kapoor spoke about Goodbye. She said, "Goodbye is an extremely special subject which has emotion and entertainment in equal measure. Amitabh Bacchan is awaiting the release of Chehre and Nagraj Manjule's Jhund. He will also be seen in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. Rashmika Mandanna will be making her Bollywood debut opposite Siddharth Malhotra in Shantanu Bagchi's Mission Majnu.
