Coronavirus is once again spreading in the country and many are testing positive. Once again the virus is taking away innocent lives. The television and Bollywood stars are getting more affected as they have been shooting. Bigg Boss 10 contestant Monalisa has tested positive for coronavirus. The actress is currently seen on Namak Issk Ka as Iravati. In an interview with India Today on their Saas, Bahu Aur Betiyaan segment, Monalisa's husband Vikrant confirmed the news. He said that Monalisa has tested Covid positive, but she is asymptomatic. She is under home quarantine and receiving medical attention.
He also shared that Monalisa is okay but when people hear about coronavirus, they get hyper but now she is fine. However, Monalisa remained unavailable for a comment. Since she has tested positive, the cast and crew members of Namak Iss ka will undergo a Covid-19 test and the set will also be sanitised before they resume the shoot. This is not the first time, earlier too stars like Karan Jotwani, Ankit Siwach, Srishti Jain, Priyal Mahajan, Amar Upadhyay, Toral Rasputra, Mayur Vakani, Mandar Chandwadkar and others had tested positive for coronavirus. Yesterday, Bollywood star Alia Bhatt also tested positive for coronavirus.
The actress took to her Instagram stories and wrote, "Hello all, I have tested positive for COVID-19. I have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I am following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe and take care." For the unversed, Alia had been shooting for her films such as Brahmastra and Gangubai Kathiawadi and had been looking forward to the shoot other films. The actress has been juggling various brand shoots too. A couple of days ago, her co-star and rumoured boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor had been tested positive.
