Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are one of the most famous celeb couples in India. You must be aware that they tied the knot in 2007. But did you all know how and when they first met? Well, it was through Bobby Deol in Switzerland.
Abhishek revealed on YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia's podcast, "I first met her when I was a production boy. There was a film my father was making called Mrityudata, and I had gone for the location recce to Switzerland, because the company felt that because I had grown up in Switzerland in boarding school that I would be able to take them to nice locations."
He continued, "I had been there for a couple of days, all alone. And that's when a childhood friend of mine, Bobby Deol, was shooting for his first film Aur Pyar Ho Gaya. And he got to know I was there, and said 'Hey, why don't you come over for dinner?' And that's the first time, when they were shooting, when I met Aishwarya."
Abhishek's second film was Dhai Akshar Prem Ke, which starred Aishwarya. The actor added that they worked together several times and had developed a good friendship before deciding to get married. When asked if he had a crushed on Aishwarya during this time, pat came the reply, "Who doesn't crush on her? I mean, come on, come on." Abhishk and Aishwarya welcomed their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan on November 16, 2011.
On the work front, Abhishek Bachchan was recently seen in The Big Bull, which was inspired by the life of stockbroker Harshad Mehta. Directed by Kookie V Gulati, the film is produced by Ajay Devgn and Anand Pandit. It also features Ileana D'Cruz, Nikita Dutta, Soham Shah, Ram Kapoor, Supriya Pathak, Saurabh Shukla and Mahesh Manjrekar in pivotal roles.
