Singing and dance-based reality TV shows are something that the Indian audience love to follow. Across India, there are so many channels and platforms through which individuals live their dream. And one amongst them is Bharath Raj, a young guy who never thought he could be a singer. Last night the finale of Sa Re Ga Ma Pawere held down in the South. And Bharath went on to get the runner-up's title. In its 13th season, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa saw some amazing talents. However, Bharath Raj was quick to win the hearts of the audience and the judges alike. He recently opened up on his journey on the show, how he got into singing and more.
Bharat Raj opened up on being a shy introvert in an interview with ETimes. He said, "I'm an introvert. I feel tensed and nervous about every performance. 5 mins before every performance was the real test. I take a deep breath before I start my song and tell myself that everything will be fine." He credits the show for making him open up. "Before participating in this show, I used to be a typical introvert guy, giving one-word replies and keeping it to myself. Thanks to Sa Re Ga Ma Pa team, I could open up a little," Bharath shared.
The young aspirant singer opened up on the feedback that he got from the mentors, judges and the audience. He said his mentor Prithvi Chandra always encouraged him to open up and give his 100 percent in every performance. He added, "I was always asked to open up more while performing as it would help me connect better to the audience. It is not that easy as said but we ought to do a few things in order to reach the audience. I'm thankful for the precious feedback."
The young music sensation revealed that singing was not his cup of tea and that it was because his parents forced him to take up singing classes that he began singing when he was in third grade. Eventually, Bharath Raj revealed that he gained interest and started participating in shows. And then, it was no looking back. And now, he has won over masses. He opened up on getting recognition after doing Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. He said, "This show gave me recognition. Earlier, not many knew that I'm a singer, now after this show, they are like 'Hey, he's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Bharat'. It is a very nice feeling."
