After much delay, the Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan's six-episode web series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has released online and ready for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar Premium. The new television installment from Marvel Cinematic Universe will see Anthony and Sebastian reprise their roles of Falcon and Winter Soldier respectively from the Avengers franchise, for a global adventure that will put their abilities and their patience to test. The journey will unfold after Falcon receives the Captain America shield from superhero retiree Steve Rogers. However, the ending of the first episode has irked the audience a lot.
The scene shows Sam handing over Captain America's shield to the government because he feels he is not worthy enough to carry on his legacy. The govt then appoints a new Captain America named John Walker played by Wyatt Russell. However, fans totally rejected the new Captain America and began sharing memes with a hashtag that says, '#NotMyCap.' Check out the memes below.

Directed by Kari Skogland with Malcolm Spellman as chief writer, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier series also stars Daniel Bruhl as Zemo and Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter. The making of the show hasn't been smooth. The filming began in January 2019 in Puerto Rico, and postponed due to a string of earthquakes. The production hit another setback due to the pandemic last July. The final shots were wrapped in October last year.
