Mouni Roy will be seen playing the antagonist for the very first time in Ayan Mukerji's ambitious fantasy trilogy, Brahmastra. The actress has given us so many amazing performances on the small and the big screen. Mouni Roy is all set to impress us as the evil villain in Brahmastra. The film has been the most awaited one. The first installment of Director Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna and above all, Shah Rukh Khan in an extended cameo, has been stuck for more than three years now due to production and post-production delays, with coronavirus restrictions also playing spoilsport. Now, very soon we might get to see the film. In an exclusive interview with BollywoodLife, Mouni Roy spoke about Brahmastra.
She said, "We have all waited for a very long time and it is just few more days, months I guess. It's a film that will be best enjoyed as a theatre release so I sure that Ayan Mukerji and Karan sir and the entire team is waiting for the right time to kind of release it. But the good news is that Roohi has released and there are a few more films that are releasing so I am hopeful. I am as eager as everyone else. I am waiting for the release date." Mouni Roy also spoke about her character from the film. She said, "I am an outright evil person in the film." Mouni also spoke about working with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.
She said, "Oh My God! It was just a beautiful experience. I feel very grateful in fact to be sharing some screen space with them. Both of them are fire on-screen and loving human beings so I consider myself to be very lucky to be a part of the film. Amitabh Bachchan sir, Nagarjuna sir and Shah Rukh Khan sir are a part of the film so it can't get bigger than the cast that Brahmastra has."
