Janhvi Kapoor is going all out to promote her latest release, Roohi. She took to Instagram to share a couple of pics. In one of the pics, she can be seen struggling to wear a pair of jeans. Her caption read, "It was a relaxed day." Have a look at her post below:
Janhvi will be seen in the much-talked-about sequel of Dostana alongside Kartik Aaryan and newcomer Lakshya. Janhvi has been compared to Priyanka Chopra, who had been a rage as the Desi Girl and her chic saree in the song.
In an interview with Indian Express, Janhvi addressed the comparisons with Priyanka and said, "Priyanka Chopra was iconic in Dostana. So, there is a responsibility, but it's another film, completely different. So, I don't know what I can do. All that I can do [about] the bar, the standard that she has set, [is to try] reach for the stars I guess. Pray to God and hope that [I] get somewhere close."
In another interview, she spoke more about the film and said, "The tone of the film is very fun, my character is quite progressive. She is very chilled out and fun. (Another good thing about the film is that) I get to wear cool and pretty clothes. So, I am very excited about that."
She also spoke about her love for classical dance. She said, "I have always been very fond of dance. I remember during the shoot of Dhadak (her debut film opposite Ishaan Khatter), I did Kathak for a couple of months, after Dhadak I did it for few months. I have been in and out of Kathak classes very sporadically, mainly because of my schedule but I have always found it most therapeutic. The energy of being in a classroom when you are doing something as an artist, to be practicing, it always appeals to me."
