Janhvi Kapoor's Roohi is winning hearts. The actress played a dual role in the horror-comedy film by Hardik Mehta. Roohi also stars Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma. After the release, Janhvi Kapoor is back on the sets of her next which is Good Luck Jerry. The first look of Janhvi from Aanand L Rai's Good Luck Jerry was dropped a couple of weeks ago. She sported a simpleton look with a salwar kameez and a braid. Janhvi Kapoor has been sharing some BTS videos and pictures from the sets of the film which are going viral as you read this. Talking about Good Luck Jerry, the film is backed by Aanand L Rai's Colour Yellow Productions with LYCA Productions, in association with Sundial Entertainment. Sidharth Sengupta will take the director's role while Pankaj Mehta is handling the script. Apart from Janhvi Kapoor, Good Luck Jerry also stars Deepak Dobriyal, Meeta Vashishth, Neeraj Sood and Sushant Singh.
Meanwhile, in an interview, Janhvi Kapoor opened up on her characters saying that while Roohi is very vulnerable, docile, and fragile, Afza makes for a 'very animalistic, inhumane energy'. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Janhvi Kapoor was asked whether for her dual characters of Roohi and Afza she had any reference points since both are polar opposites of one another. When asked whether she saw her mother's Chaalbaaz for picking references to portray the characters, she said, "There was no real reference point for Afza's character, and I was trying to be conscious about not mimicking anyone. I don't think anyone in the world can match up to the level of work that my mother has put out. I would honestly always have a hard time watching ChaalBaaz because they were very mean to her in the film. As a kid, I was very traumatised every time I tried to watch that film."
