Anasuya Bharadwaj BREAKS silence on being a part of Allu Arjun-Rashmika Mandanna's Pushpa

Popular Tollywood star Anasuya Bharadwaj, who is known for her performances in Kshanam and Rangasthalam, has clarified the rumours of being a part of Allu Arjun-Rashmika Mandanna's Pushpa. The actress confirmed she is not a part of the film and tweeted, "Please don't blindly believe "according to a source" or etc etc.. my career is my beliefs and choices.. not what someone writes or types."

Anasuya Bharadwaj will be next seen Chaavu Kaburu Challaga's song Paina Pataaram. The film is set to hit the screens on March 19. Talking about the song, Anasuya tweeted, "It's not an item song. Maybe, someone who treats women as objects/items came up with the expression originally. There is nothing called an item song. 'Paina Pataaram' is a special song because it features me, someone who is not part of the film otherwise."

Talking about Pushpa, the first look of the film was released on actor's 37th birthday, where saw the actor in a raw and rustic avatar. The film was officially launched in 2019 October in Hyderabad. It is set in the backdrop of red sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam forests. It is directed by Sukumar, who previously collaborated with the star on Arya and Arya 2. DSP (Devi Sri Prasad) will compose the music of the film. Vijay Sethupathi was earlier on board to play the lead antagonist in the film but he opted out of the project due to date issues and hectic schedule. Pushpa is set to hit the screens on August 13.
