It's been a decade that Swayamvar was held on national television. The last known Swayamvar was of popular television actress Ratan Rajput. It was held in 2011 and was hosted by Hiten Tejwani. Swayamvar has attracted a lot of Indian audiences back in the past. It was stopped after the channel shut shop. But now it seems the Swayavmvar thing is back. For the unversed, Shehnaaz Gill and Paras Chhabra had participated in the reality TV show called Mujhse Shaadi Karoge, which was inspired by the swayamvar format.. And now, Arshi Khan of Bigg Boss 15 is said to be the next actress who will be seen conducting a swayamvar for herself. As per a report in the Times of India, Arshi Khan has been approached by the makers for a swayamvar on national television.
A source close to the development of the same revealed that Arshi Khan has gained popularity from Bigg Boss 15. She has a good fanbase and her quirky personality would attract the audience too. "Makers are already ahead on the show. After Shehnaaz Gill's swayamvar, the channel wants the season to be a hit on the TRP chart. While Arshi's antics has bought in a good TRP for Bigg Boss, it's expected her swayamvar will also grab eyeballs," the source told the portal. The report further states that Arshi Khan has agreed to be a part of the show. The makers have approached Rahul Mahajan to host the same. Yes, you read that right. Apart from that, the tentative title has also been revealed. Apparently, Arshi Khan's swayamvar will be called Aayenge Tere Sajna which marks the first season of the show.
After Bigg Boss, Arshi Khan has been unwinding and making a lot of reels. She had earlier revealed to us that getting back to normal after staying inside the house is a little difficult in the initial days. After Bigg Boss, Arshi also bought a new house for herself.
