After Pathan, Deepika Padukone to kickstart the shooting of Prabhas' next, set in the future — deets inside

The Mastani of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone, who is currently shooting for Shah Rukh Khan's Pathan, will kickstart the shooting of her pan-India project costarring Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan, which will go on floors in July. As per the PinkVilla report, a source close to film said, "The film goes on the floors in the month of July. By then, Prabhas would have wrapped up shooting for major chunk of Salaar and Adipurush, whereas Deepika would have completed Pathan. She has allotted 75 days already for the film, which has her in an action-packed avatar, with an altogether different get up. It's an apocalyptic film, set in the futuristic timeline, with the characters fighting for survival. The tale has not been attempted in Indian cinema till date." The film marks the first collaboration between Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas.

Talking about Amitabh Bachchan's entry in the film, Nag Ashwin said, "I feel lucky and blessed that Bachchan Sir has selected our film among the many choices he has. It is a full-length role, which we believe will do justice to the legend that he is." During the media interaction, producer Ashwini Dutt said, "Nag Ashwin' story surprised me. He came up with a universally acceptable story for Baahubali and Saaho star Prabhas. The project requires hundreds of cr of budget. Only Prabhas has the ability to pull off such a massive project." As per the reports, #Prabhas21 is expected to be a sci-fi venture about time travel, where the lead actors will go to specific time zones. The production of this film will be shot all over Europe. The film is produced by Vyjayanthi Entertainments, a banner that recently completed 50 years in the business. It will be reportedly made on the budget of Rs 400 crore.
