Adipurush: Saif Ali Khan to start shooting for Prabhas-Kriti Sanon's mega-budget, pan-India movie on THIS date?

Today morning we saw the makers of Adipurush announcing of roping in Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh to play in Sita and Laxman in Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan starrer Adipurush. While the news has raised the excitement of the fans, the latest reports suggest that the Tanhaji actor will start the shooting of the film from Mid-March as he was in a paternity break. As per the PinkVilla report, a source close the development said, "While Prabhas is already shooting for the film, Saif will join him from mid this month. However, he will initially begin with his solo portions and will eventually start shooting with Prabas. Saif will be shooting in a green screen setup, while the film's leading lady is also expected to join them in April."

Director Om Raut had confirmed the news earlier and told BT, "Saif sir and Prabhas have been prepping for the film extensively for the last three-four months. At this moment, my team is excited for the shoot to commence. They are preparing the final schedule. From where I see it, Saif sir is on paternity leave and will join the shoot sometime in March this year. It's a deep, extensive story. We plan to shoot all the way up to August."

Om Raut had earlier praised Saif and welcomed him to the Adipurush family and said, "To play the strongest villain from our Epic we needed a brilliant actor. Who better than Saif Ali Khan, one of the greatest actor of our lifetime, to essay this powerful role. Personally, I enjoy every day at work with him.
