Sridevi's 3rd death Anniversary: Khushi and Janhvi Kapoor's heartfelt posts for their beloved mother will leave you teary-eyed

It's been three years that actress Sridevi left everyone for a heavenly abode. It was indeed shocking and still unbelievable that the Mom actress passed away. She had been having a gala time enjoying her nephew's wedding in Dubai. After the wedding, Sridevi decided to stay behind and shop for her daughter, Khushi Kapoor's birthday. She was joined by Boney Kapoor later in the city. They had been planning to have dinner together but things went wrong. Reports stated that Sridevi was found dead in the bathtub of her hotel room. The toxicology report states that it was a case of accidental drowning. There were other reports that said that the Sadma actress had suffered a heart attack. Well, it's still a shock for everyone. She is and will remain one of the most loved and phenomenal actresses of all time. On her 3rd death anniversary, her daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor shared posts for their beloved mother.

Janhvi Kapoor posted a handwritten note by her mother on her Instagram handle and captioned it saying, "Miss u." The note read: "I love you my labbu you are the best baby in the world." This is too heartbreaking. Have a dekko at the post of Janhvi's here:

Khushi Kapoor, on the other hand, shared a picture of Boney Kapoor and Sridevi together. It is a throwback post wherein we see Sridevi hugging Boney and sharing the prettiest smiles. It seems it is a picture from one of their out-station trips. Have a dekko at Khushi Kapoor's pictures here:

In an interview with Forbes, Boney Kapoor had opened up on coping with Sridevi's loss and adjusting post her tragic demise. "Sridevi was one of those rare artists who are so gifted that their absence leaves a void that cannot be filled. But I remember her as a great and down-to-earth human being, a very dedicated mother and an extremely loving wife. Sridevi the human being, wife, mother and friend was very different to Sridevi the artist. I still remember when we were shooting for her last film, Mom, in which Sri had to portray the anguish of a mother whose stepdaughter is raped. She did not let me stay in the same room with her during the shoot as she wanted to be in the "zone" of her character and feel her pain. She won the National Award posthumously for that role but that's the seriousness with which she approached her work. I don't think we will ever be able to fill her void. Having said that, lives have to move on," he said.
