On 28th January, Rebel star Prabhas welcomed birthday girl Shruti Haasan on board for his next with Prashanth Neel called Salaar. The action-thriller movie quickly gained attention for obvious reasons. The actress had gushed about joining the cast and thanked Prabhas who broke the news and gave her a warm welcome on her special day. Prabhas is a darling in real life and all his co-stars and crew from every film keep heaping praises on the Baahubali star. And now, Shruti Haasan has joined the wagon. She heaped praises for her co-star and we second her words.
"I'm really glad to be working with Prabhas as I haven't before! He's a really warm and dedicated person and it's a lot of good energy," Shruti Haasan told ETimes. When asked about her role in Salaar, the actress shared that she could not divulge details but promised that it's something unique and different from her other words. "2021 is a very jam packed year for me already and my plan is to work hard and be as creative as I can be in all my endeavours. I can't say much about my role in 'Salaar' but it's unique in comparison to what I've done before and I'm excited to play the character the director has etched out," Shruti Haasan added.
Recently, Shruti's post with rumoured boyfriend Santanu Hazarika went viral. The latter a doodle artist had shared a cozy picture with the Gabbar Is Bsck actress that went viral on social media soon. When asked about her relationship status and Santanu, Shruti said, "I really don't like talking about my personal life anymore because I don't think it's easy for people to separate personal and professional matters so my focus is my work and that's what I would like others to focus on as well."
Earlier in an interview with Bombay Times, Shruti revealed her reaction upon learning that she'll star opposite Prabhas. "I'm super excited to be a part of this project. It's a great team and I'm looking forward to working with Prabhas as well. As always, what drew me to the role was the character I get to portray. Her flow in the larger narrative is interesting and I'm excited to bring her to life," the actress said.
