Kangana Ranaut shares an old clip with Deepika Padukone from Aamir Khan's Satyameva Jayate; says, 'Teaching Feminism To Bullywood'

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who is known for garnering controveries through her tweets, shared an old clip of one of the episodes of Aamir Khan's Satyameva Jayate, which she graced along with Deepika Padukone. In the video, we saw, Kangana talking about how inappropriate was the description of heroines in Bollywood and especially in item songs. She also went on to say that in the past 3-4 years, she has rejected six item songs. The video was shared by a fan, who wrote, "Oh dear Deepika you are my favourite but to say you never really thought abt causual sexism in Bollywood wn @KanganaTeam speaks agnst it is disappointing. Also Kudos to Kangana for saying it back then that she'd not entertain this in the future (from 2014)" To which Kangana replied, "Watch this, it is many years ago in my early twenties teaching feminism to Bullywood, listen you all upcoming libru feminists, !"

Earlier in a conversation with BT, Kangana said, "Well I don't do item numbers because there is nothing to be done in them. They are they are obscene, they are at times unfair, most of them are sexist. What is there to be done in them? I personally feel they should be banned. I can't be a part of something which is so toxic to us, our society, our children."
