Superstar Hrithik Roshan has just reached the office of the Mumbai Crime Branch. This is with regards to the email case involving Kangana Ranaut. News agency ANI had reported that Maharashtra's Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) had sent summons to the actor to come to their office on February 27, 2021. As we know, the fight between Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan grabbed all the headlines in 2017. It involved an alleged affair between the two. He had filed a case against the actress under IPC section 419 (cheating by personation), section 66C (identity theft), and 66D (cheating by personation using computer resources) of the Information Technology Act. The handsome actor maintains that he did not have long chats with her on email. She was having the talks with an impersonator.
He had demanded an public apology from the Thalaivi actress. When she refused, he slapped a legal case on her. Kangana Ranaut also filed a case countering his allegations. Rakesh Roshan said in an interview, "It's now up to the authorities to decide who's telling the truth. We've always believed in the power of the truth. I was taught to be honest by my father (legendary music composer Roshan) and I've taught Hrithik the same. In this matter, the truth will be out soon."
It all started after Kangana Ranaut referred to someone as an silly ex. Later, Hrithik Roshan said that there were more chances of him having a relationship with the pope than with the women named here. The actor later gave a long interview to Republic TV where he spoke in detail about what happened.
