Aamir Khan to announce his next movie after Laal Singh Chaddha on his birthday? [Exclusive]

When you're a superstar, every little thing you do makes noise, but not more than your film announcements and their subsequent releases, and it's no different for Aamir Khan. Keeping that in mind, we have got some exciting news for you. BollywoodLife has exclusively learned that Aamir Khan is gearing up to announce his next film after Laal Singh Chaddha, and the announcement may come sooner than we all would've anticipated. In fact, according to our source, the superstar is expected to proclaim his next movie post Laal Singh Chaddha on his birthday, which is round the bend on 14th March.

Our source continues that Aamir's next film is expected to be another slice-of-life drama, quite like in the vein of Laal Singh Chaddha, though probably based on a completely different concept and theme. The reason behind this we've been informed is that Aamir Khan is not looking for anything hard-hitting at the moment. Furthermore, we're told that another factor he has taken into consideration at this point is the tremendous goodwill and trust that the audience has for the actor when it comes to this brand of cinema, coupled with the fact that whenever he arrives with such films, it always attracts bigger deals from investors in overseas territories. The film is expected to have a 2022 release.

That being said, our source concludes that Aamir Khan hasn't completely zeroed on what he'll be announcing next after Laal Singh Chaddha as while it's going to be a slice-of-life drama, there are a few projects in the same mould that he currently has his eye on. Anyway, there are only a few days pending till the icon's birthday on 14th March, so the wait isn't going to be that long.
