Kushal Tandon was travelling in a flight to his hometown Lucknow and he bumped into his ex and just married, Gauahar Khan, who was on her way for a shoot. Kushal was heard saying in the video, "Okay guys. What are the chances? I am traveling to a destination and I met my sweet old friend who just got married and she is sitting next to me. By chance we met, I'm not stalking her."

A few days ago, we saw the writer of the show Aatish Kapadia coming across the replica of the show, made by the Pakistani makers. Aatish posted it on Facebook and slammed the Pakistani makers for bluntly copying his bit-by-bit and called it a daylight robbery. He asked fans not to view this show and give them any importance. Rajesh Kumar, who played Rosesh Sarabhai in the show, shared his disappointment over the unofficial remake of the show. He said, "This Pakistani show called Chana Jor Garam is a frame to frame copy. It's a total copyright violation."
