Well, today is the special day of Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal as the duo have exchanged the wedding vows. While we saw many celebs attending the marriage, David Dhawan's friend and actor Satish Kaushik revealed the reason of not attending the big day of Varun and Natasha. Talking to Koimoi, the Bharat actor said, "Everyone knows what COVID-19 has done to us and to the whole society. So you know family ka jab ek function hota hai it is very limited people. So definitely even though David and me are good friends but we will not be attending the wedding."
He added, "I wish Varun a happy married life with Natasha. They are beautiful and very nice kids. So my wishes are there, but yes we will not be attending because of COVID, because we have to have a limited number of people and that is close family members." When asked whether he will be attending the reception, which will reportedly happen on Jauary 26, Satish Kaushik replied, "Mujhe pata nahi, main 26th ko hu hi nahi. 26th ko I am going for a shoot, and I have no idea about that. I have no news about that rather. Maybe they will have later on."
The Coolie No 1's star uncle Anil Dhawan spoke about the marriage and recently told PinkVilla, "We are very excited. This is the last marriage in our family from Varun's generation. Rohit (Dhawan, Varun's elder brother) got married, my children got married and my elder brother's kids are also married. Toh yeh complete circle ho jayega (this will be a complete circle). We are just doing the rituals among our families and not doing any bing bang." He added, "Ladki wale kuch karein toh hum thodi bolenge mat karo yeh. Woh apni beti ke liye jo bhi karna ho thoda bahut (If the girl's side plans anything, then we obviously won't say no. Whatever they want to do for their daughter)... otherwise there is nothing. Whatever you are hearing is bullshit. Our families are just getting together and doing the rituals."
