It was Sushant Singh Rajput's birth anniversary yesterday. While it is still unbelievable that he is not here in flesh and blood, his birthday was celebrated by everyone in gusto. Sushant is sorely being missed by so many people whether they knew him personally or not. Such was the charm of the Chhichhore actor. He touched lives with his heartwarming smile and the twinkle in his eyes. Though they were not friends, Sharad Malhotra revealed that he had bumped into the Kedarnath actor a couple of times and was greeted affectionately.
Recently, the actor Naagin 5 actor revealed that Sushant Singh Rajput's demise was indeed very heartbreaking for everyone. He also opened up on his special connection with Sushant. "What would really strike everyone about Sushant Singh Rajput was his infectious smile and cheerful demeanour. I had bumped into him at a couple of events and he always wore a warm smile. He seemed like a happy guy and hyper in the right way. He was always up to something. He wanted to do something with his life and kept working on something on the other. He was super energetic and positive, something that was also visible in the characters he played. I saw his last film, 'Dil Bechara' and thought he was fantastic in it. Sushant was always a naturally talented guy. He felt his character, which is also what connected with the audience. It's heartbreaking that someone so young and talented went away so soon," the actor said.
Sharad spoke about his connection with Sushant Singh Rajput saying, "Today, I am working with the same production house that he made his debut with. I feel special that we are neighbours. When you have these memories, your eyes well up. It is sad to realise that the industry lost such a gifted actor." Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his apartment in Mumbai on 14 June 2020. His demise shook everyone not just in the country but also across the globe.
