BTS has a fan-following unprecedented not only in the annals of the Korean music scene, but all of Asian music. Their fans, or the BTS Army as they prefer calling themselves, spreads to every corner of the globe, of whom, multitudes are clustered here in India, too. And for all their Indian fans...boy, have we got some exciting trivia for you. We are sure you must be spending your days and nights gushing over everything BTS from their songs to fashion to hairstyles to accessories to their innermost trivia,. But did you know that one of the band members, Jimin, is quite the fan of Bollywood movies and even has a favourite Hindi movie he simply adores?
Amazed? Astounded? Awestruck? Well, if you're not experiencing these emotions right now, then please don't call yourself a BTS fan. For the rest of y'all who are actually a true part of the BTS Army based on the assortment of feelings that have hit y'all after hearing this piece of news...we know that it must be unbearable waiting to know which is the Bollywood film Jimin is a diehard fan of.
Hold on though, we're not going to make it that easy. How about a hint first: It stars one of the three Khans of the industry. That narrows down the playing field, doesn't it? The options are still vast though and must be driving you crazy, right? Well, then, here's another hint: It's a famous movie on college life. Still can't arrive at the answer even after that narrows the choices further? Okay, here's your final hint: It was the highest-grossing Bollywood movie at the time of its release and was the first Hindi film to truly open the doors for the industry in the far east, including China, Japan and, obviously, Korea.
Still can't make a calculated guess? All right, then, we'll relieve you of the stress. It's none other than Rajkumar Hirani's 3 Idiots, starring Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi, R. Madhavan, Kareena Kapoor and Boman Irani, and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The revelation on both Bollywood movies and 3 Idiots came earlier last year in March by BTS member Jimin himself during a live chat session hosted as compensation for the BTS Army after the group had to cancel US tour due to the coronavirus pandemic. Check out the proof below:
Jimin yesterday mentioned in his vlive that he watched '3 idiots'.
