The internet is a cruel and mean place especially if you are a celeb. Deepika Padukone faced the ugly side recently when she was trolled for grocery shopping. Trollers brought back the JNU incident as well and pointed out how the actress has been continuously making desperate attempts for the sake of coverage. Have a look at some of the tweets:
Deepika was seen wearing a black hoodie, sunglasses, and jeans. She was seen carrying some shopping bags.The actress had recently revealed that despite a team at her service, she prefers doing her chores, as it has always been like that. "So, my typical day is like anyone else's, where I wake up and, sometimes, there is no water in the tap, or there's some problem with the staff. It is like any other home or situation, which I handle on my own. That's the way I have been brought up. I don't know whether I do this intentionally or whether that is second nature to me, but including things like packing, unpacking, ordering groceries, managing the home and office I do it all myself," she told a magazine.
Deepika has been quite active on social media and has been in the news. She also put up a Bernie Sanders meme recently. On January 1, fans were shocked to see that she had deleted all her social media posts. The reason wasn't known. Are these part of her efforts to be written and talked about and stay in the news, till there is noise about her work? Well, trolls definitely seem to think so.
Meanwhile, according to reports, she will be seen in Pathan which also stars Shah Rukh Khan. But nothing is official yet.
