It is official. John Abraham took to social media on the occasion of Republic Day to announce the release date of Satyameva Jayate 2. In a still released from the film, we can see John Abraham in a completely desi avatar. He is wearing a kurta-pyjama with a turban on his head. The actor looks like a village lord. The handsome actor is waving the Indian tricolour. The original film Satyameva Jayate was a huge hit at the mass circuit. It made close to Rs 100 crore. This prompted Milap Zaveri to draft a script for a sequel. The movie also marks the comeback of Divya Khosla Kumar as an actress.
While the first film was set in Mumbai, the second one is based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It traces the corrupt nexus between politicians and cops in the heartland of India. The movie promises to be a treat for all fans of John Abraham as it has several bare bodied action scenes. The stunt directors are the same as the ones for KGF 1.
Salman Khan's Radhe is also coming on May 14, 2021. In a statement, the superstar wrote, "Sorry it has taken me a long time to revert to all the theatre owners. It's a big decision to make during these times. I understand the financial problems that theatre owners/exhibitors are going through and I would like to help them by releasing Radhe in theatres. In return, I would expect them to take utmost amount of care and precautions for the audience who would come to the theatre to watch Radhe. The commitment was of Eid and it will be Eid 2021, inshallah. Enjoy Radhe this year in theatres on Eid...God willing."
