Bigg Boss 14 had taken the slowest start despite having popular faces and three Toofani seniors aka Sidharth Shukla, Hina Khan and Gauahar Khan inside the house. The three of them tried to make the contestants understand the game and play. Then to now, people have come far, far ahead in the game. We have a lot of wild card entrants inside the house as well. However, there have been times when the contestants have left and re-entered the house again. We are talking about Aly Goni, Rahul Vaidya, Vikas Gupta to name a few. It is also being said that Eijaz Khan would re-enter the house after three weeks and that he is out due to his prior work commitment. Now, a lot of people have slammed this exit and re-enter trend that has been carried in Bigg Boss 14. And joining them is season 13's Mahira Sharma.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Mahira Sharma who has also worked in popular TV shows like Kundali Bhagya and Naagin, said, "I have not been following the current season as such for me to comment. As per popularity-wise is concerned our season was the best season, every contestant had their individual personality and was unique in their own way."
Talking about the trend, Mahira said, "This trend is not acceptable as per the format of the show. The audience connects with someone for the long term, thinking them to be in the race of winning the trophy. In mid of leaving and re-entering the show, audience connection gets lost. So I love my season and I am not in for this trend."
The Kundali Bhagya actress also named her favourite contestant in the house. "Rakhi Sawant is the most entertaining person in the house. I have seen some of her show clips and I feel she is truly entertaining," she added. in 2019, when Mahira Sharma had been locked inside the house of Bigg Boss, Aly Goni had a lot to say about her game. When asked her to comment on Aly game, the actress told Pinkvilla, "I just them good luck for their future."
When asked whether the break due to the pandemic, affected their popularity after Bigg Boss, Mahira said, "Not at all, I am thankful to Bigg Boss our stardom continues. We have been doing the maximum amount of work during this lockdown. I am thankful to God that I have got this opportunity and popularity is increasing day by day."
Mahira Sharma also opened up on her equation with fellow- contestant, Paras Chhabra and the link-up rumours around them, saying, "We don't let any rumours affect us. Friendship is the most important relationship in my life and I have a great great friendship with him and it will continue to be."
