Irrfan Khan's son, Babil, reveals that he'll look at film offers after his graduation in May

Irrfan Khan's demise on April 29, 2020 left cinema lovers and fans in mourning. The actor fought neuroendocrine tumour for a year. He took treatment in the UK for a year. After that, he finished the shoot of Angrezi Medium. Thereafter, he contracted an infection and succumbed to it. His sons, Babil and Ayaan have kept his memories alive. His elder son, Babil Khan posted a picture of a book, Actors On Acting. The novel is edited by Toby Cole and Helen Krich Chinoy. He said the book was up for lending. He is studying film-making in the UK.

A fan asked Babil if the handwriting on the book belonged to the late actor. It seems he brought the book when he was preparing for his role in Namesake. The film has one of his best performances. A fan asked Babil Khan when would he make his debut in Bollywood. He replied, "I am already in the field of acting, when I will appear in a film is the question. Once I have graduated around May, I will start looking into offers." Well, we are sure that everyone will be eager to see Irrfan Khan's son Babil onscreen.

The actor's last film, The Song Of Scorpions will release in the first half of 2021. The movie that is directed by Anup Singh also stars Tisca Chopra, Tillotama Shome and Golshifteh Farahani. Abhishek Pathak, director of Panorama Spotlight said in a statement, "The Song of Scorpions is a special story, and it is truly an honour for us to present Irrfan Khan's final performance in it. We will be offering this film to the audiences as a tribute to the beloved star of Indian cinema. The era of cinema in India and abroad has benefitted from his acting prowess and we're happy to have canvassed his swansong."
