Eijaz Khan was the first contestant to enter the house of Bigg Boss 14 on October 3, 2020. After staying inside the house of Bigg Boss for about 106 days he has been asked to leave the house. Bigg Boss 14 is just about 5 weeks away from the finale and his walkout at this juncture is quite shocking for not just the housemates but also the audience. If you look at Eijaz Khan's journey, he has been one of the strongest contestants of the season. And a little birdie tells us that Eijaz Khan has left the house to fulfill his other professional commitment. Yes, you read that right.
We are talking about Nagesh Kukunoor's web series, City of Dreams. Eijaz Khan played a pivotal role as SI Wasim Khan. The political thriller helmed by Kukunoor is being developed by the director's team member Rohit Banawlikar. The first season of the City of Dreams aired in May 2019. The second season would have gone on the floor last year itself had it not been for the nationwide shutdown as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Eijaz Khan would be seen reprising the role of SI Wasim Khan in City of Dreams. Apart from the Bigg Boss 14 contestant, the series also stars Sidharth Chandekar, Priya Bapat, Atul Kulkarni, Sandeep Kulkarni, Uday Tikekar, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Flora Saini to name a few. The source also added that Eijaz Khan would be outside the house for about three weeks. After which he will return to the house of Bigg Boss. Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 13 contestant Devoleena Bhattacharjee would be seen entering the house as his proxy.
A couple of days ago, Eijaz Khan's brother Imran had opened up on the time when Eijaz had shared his painful childhood memory on the show. "It is difficult to see a family member express his deepest feelings; it was painful for us to watch that episode. Eijaz is a wise man and also brave for sharing such a thing on national television. As his brother, I am proud of his courageous step. He didn't do anything wrong in revealing his story, in fact, he enabled more people to share their experiences. We were surprised and shocked when he shared his personal story on TV, but we will support him in whatever he does," he had said.
