Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain: 'Many years ago, I had said Nehha Pendse would be perfect to play Anita Bhabhi,' says Shilpa Shinde

After Saumya Tandon's exit, we saw Nehha Pendse entering Bhabi ji Ghar Par Hain as the new Anita Bhabhi. While the May I Come In Madam actress looked perfect in the latest promo of the show, Shilpa Shinde, who earlier portrayed the character of Angoori Bhabhi praised Nehha and told E Times, "To be honest, it is not because we both are from Maharashtra but I genuinely like her because of her acting skills. I have seen her perform and she has a flair for comedy. She is pretty attractive too if we talk about looks. I remember when I was in the show and she entered another show named 'May I Come in Madam' I had said that she will be the perfect fit for the role of Anita Bhabhi. And then suddenly I saw the promo and I saw her in it."

Shilpa Shinde earlier praised Nehha and wrote on Instagram, Sometimes I used to watch BGPH for Bharbuti ji @iaasifsheikhofficial and Saxena ji @saanandverma & Neha, ab tumhare liye ye show definitely dekhna padega as you are really a good actress...There are very few actresses having beauty and talent & u are one of them @nehhapendse," to which Nehha replied, "I will do my best @shilpa_shinde_official." Speaking about this appreciation, Shilpa told the portal, "I think appreciating her was important for me because it boosts the morale of the actor too."

The Bigg Boss 11 winner also spoke about Saumya Tandon and said, "Saumya is a very good looking actress but when we talk about playing a comedy character, other elements too come into play, especially comic timing. It's said jo hota hai achche ke liye hi hota hai... and when I saw Nehha in the promo, I felt she fitted perfectly."
