'When I get gifts from fans, I make it a point to use them because I know they have sent it with so much love,' says Sidharth Shukla

The handsome hunk of TV, Sidharth Shukla witnessed a tremendous amount of hike in his fanbase across the country post winning Bigg Boss 13. While the star always wins our hearts with his quirky replies to his fans, in a recent interaction, the Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania star revealed that whenever he gets a gift from fans and supporters, he makes a point to use them as the actor knows that it is sent with so much love.

"Whenever I'm on social media, I go through most of the posts. I'll be lying if I say that I read them all, but I do manage to read most of them. There's appreciation that I receive, there's constructive criticism too, which I take well and work on, and then there are these amazing videos that they make for me. I can see the effort that goes into all this. When I get gifts, I make it a point to use them because I know they have sent it with so much love," said Sidharth to E Times.

Speaking about his recent birthday, Sidharth Shukla called it the best one of his life and said, "The number of cakes, gifts, wishes and blessings that I have got from people was amazing. Since childhood, one is made to feel special on one's birthday, but this was something else. There were countdowns online going on a month prior to my birthday. Then the best part was that many celebrated the day with people in old age homes, at orphanages, some fed the hungry, some planted trees... it was all so beautiful."

Talking about the recent incident, where Sidharth made some goons arrested for harassing his brother-in-law' staff members, he said, "Whatever happened is all out there; I think there have been a couple of video clips of the incident that people have seen. I just have one thing to say that with the online space being so vast, some of these platforms are really starved for news. Somebody said that I was drunk and that was the headline put out without any verification. It's really sad that you have gone out to help someone and they make you out to be the wrong one. Of course, major part of the media got it right. They went on to see the videos the following day and put out correct information. It's not like a person needs validation or recognition when he happens to do something good or he helps someone, but when it's turned around and the person is accused of something, it leaves a bitter feeling in the heart. But I guess that's life, so it's okay."
