Salman Khan might have had many girlfriends, but he hasn't been married yet. However, he did come close to getting married. During his appearance on The Kapil Sharma show, producer Sajid Nadiadwala had revealed, "Salman had gotten an attack in 1999 of getting married. He already had a girl, I had to find one for myself. Salman's father's birthday is on November 18, so we had decided to tie the knot on the same date."
He added, "Everything was set, even cards were sent out. Just five or six days before the due date, he said 'I don't have the mood'. After changing his mind, he came on stage during my marriage and whispered in my ears. 'There is a car outside, take it and run away'".
While Sajid didn't take any names, it is believed that the girl was Sangeeta Bijlani and she called off the wedding after she caught Salman cheating on her. Talking to NDTV recently, the actor said that he takes a lot of time to make close friends. "I take a lot of time in becoming friends, so all the friends that I've had have been 20-30 years old. And all the new people who keep coming in, they're there, but they're not as close as the four-five friends that I've had," Salman had said.
He continued, "So when you get to know... First everyone's really cool, and then you get to know each other's faults. If you're okay with their faults then you're fine. Because their qualities are a thousand times more than what they're weakness are. If you're okay with the weaknesses, you're okay with them, but if you're not okay with the weaknesses, and some friends aren't as strong, then you don't need that relationship."
The actor also spoke about his anger, and said, "I have a lot of anger and I think it is good. Anger is not temper. You need the fire, which is the anger towards yourself. You need to have anger to better yourself, take a stand on something. Temper is not okay because in that you would just lose your cool for no rhyme or reason"
