O Sanam, Na Tum Jano Na Hum: 6 Lucky Ali songs that are a MUST on your playlist

They don't make singers like Lucky Ali anymore. While his name is Lucky, we, the audience, are actually lucky to have listened to his songs. He was one of the pioneers of the Indi-pop music in the 90s and has given some evergreen songs both on the pop circuit and in Bollywood. His velvety voice is truly unique and most of his songs are simple, yet resonate on a deeper level. Here's a look at some of his iconic hits...

O Sanam

This was the song that made him pretty famous, and rightly so. It was shot near the pyramids of Egypt. According to Lucky, he was asked to make the music video of the song by BMG Crescendo himself. This led him to collaborate with his childhood friend and ad filmmaker Mahesh Mathai, who directed the iconic video in Cairo.

Kabhi Aisa Lagta Hai

This was about the inability to express one's love for someone. A very melodious number indeed.

Na Tum Jaano Na Hum

This song beautifully described the feeling of falling in love. It was from Hrithik Roshan's smash debut, Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai.

Dekha Hai Aise Bhi

It's amazing how so many of Lucky Ali's songs are able to connect with the audience till date. This is one such song.

Safarnama

This was his last Bollywood song, and he crooned it for Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha. It was about distance and relationships.

Anjaani Rahon Mein

This one is among the best travel songs ever. It talks about happiness and the journey within.
