Kangana Ranaut's grandfather passes away; actress pens an emotional message

Popular Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut shared a heartfelt message for her grandfather Braham Chand Raut, who passed away at the age of 90. Sharing the news, the Queen actress wrote, "This evening I drove to my parents house as my grandfather Shri Braham Chand Ranaut wasn't keeping well for past few months, just when I reached home he had already passed away. He was 90 years old still had an impeccable sense of humour and we all called him Daddy. OM Shanti."

The actress recently wrapped up the shooting of Thalaivi. A couple of days ago on the death anniversary of Jayalalithaa, Kangana had shared some still from the film. "On the death anniversary of Jaya Amma, sharing some working stills from our film Thalaivi- the revolutionary leader. All thanks to my team, especially the leader of our team Vijay sir who is working like a super human to complete the film, just one more week to go," she wrote in her tweet.

On the work front, Kangana Ranaut will soon start the shooting of Tejas. Talking about the film, Kangana Ranaut earlier told Mumbai Mirror, "Very often, the sacrifices made by our brave women in uniform go unnoticed by the nation. Tejas is a film where I have the honour of playing the role of one such Air Force pilot who puts country before self. I hope we instil a sense of patriotism and pride in the youth of today with this movie. I'm looking forward to the journey with Sarvesh and Ronnie on this one."
