Kajal Aggarwal-Gautam Kitchlu's wedding cake had a croquembouche on it, and dessert lovers are going crazy

Kajal Aggarwal and Gautam Kitchlu's wedding was one of the dreamiest affairs of the year. It came as a respite in a year full of tragedies and struggles. The Magadheera actress married her long-time friend, Gautam Kitchlu in Mumbai's iconic Taj Mahal Hotel in Colaba. The marriage that happened in the month of October was covered by Vogue magazine. Around 200 people attended it via Zoom. Now, Kajal Aggarwal is sharing more pictures from her wedding. In one of the reception pictures, we can see her wedding cake. While it looks like a decadent mocha cake with two tiers and edible flowers, what is grabbing notice is the croquembouche.

As we know, croquembouche is one of the toughest challenges for a baker. It in crisp pastries are filled with flavoured cream and assembled on top of each other like a tower. It is drizzled with caramel and finished off with toppings. It is a popular French dessert for important events like weddings, baptisms and all. The modern croquembouche is more elaborate with pastries being dipped in chocolate. The wedding was every bit fancy and this stunning stunning proves it yet again.

Kajal Aggarwal and Gautam Kitchlu were close for many years. After realising how much they missed one another in the pandemic, the couple decided to take the plunge. He went to meet her dad and finalised matters. Her sister, Nisha said that her dad waited for this occasion since years. The couple headed off to the Maldives for a honeymoon post the wedding.
