Married couples fight. That's just a fact of life no matter how much in love two people may be. And they also make up. That's another fact of life. However, most people believe, patriarchally or not, that it's usually the husband who apologises. Well, that doesn't seem to be the case with Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan. An old video from an episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, which Aishwarya had attended as a guest, has resurfaced where the former Miss World reveals that she's always the first to apologise to Abhishek and end the fight, leaving both host Kapil Sharma and Navjot Singh Sidhu, who was a part of the sketch comedy series back then, stumped.
When Kapil Sharma asks Aishwarya Rai in the video if she and Abhishek Bachchan fight, she quickly responds affirmatively, after which he prods her further to know who usually apologises first, to which Navjot Singh Sidhu interrupts and says, "Yeh kaunsi poochne wali baat hai? Woh hi bolte honge (What is there to ask in this? It must be Abhishek)."
However, Aishwarya corrects Sidhu and replies, "Hum hi bolte hai ji, jaldi bol dete hai aur khatam kar dete hai baat (I am the one to apologise first, I quickly say sorry and end the fight)." This leaves Kapil stunned, and he quips, "Aap hi bolte hai? Itni sundar wife aur sorry bhi bole? Yeh toh khuda ka keher hai (You apologise? Such a beautiful wife who is the first to say sorry?
