However, did you know that Salim saab had also acted in a film before turning scriptwriter and before his association with Javed Akhtar began, with the film in question being one of Hindi cinema's biggest hits and most loved thrillers? What's more, he had even shared screen space with future wife Helen in the movie. Scratching your head? Well, let's lift the curtain over the unbearable suspense. The film we're referring to is none other than Director Vijay Anand's masterpiece, Teesri Manzil (1966), starring the legendary Shammi Kapoor and the evergreen Asha Parekh.
