Siddhant Chaturvedi and Deepika Padukone have been shooting for their upcoming untitled film in the maximum city for some time now. The Shakun Batra movie also features Ananya Panday in the lead role. The movie has garnered a good amount of buzz already, thanks to the popular star cast. They had been shooting in Goa about a couple of weeks ago but their shoot reportedly ran into trouble. And for some time now, Siddhant and Deepika have been repeatedly snapped at a high-rise apartment's balcony, shooting.
Siddhant Chaturvedi, who rose to fame with his stint in Gully Boy, opened up on what's it to work with one of the most popular actresses, Deepika. He said that he is living his dream life and we couldn't stop gushing over his dreams. He heaped praises on her telling Mumbai Mirror, "She submits herself completely and makes the character believable. I am living out my dream in every possible way."
Opening up on his director's vision with this film, Siddhant said, "The scale is quite big and Shakun is trying to push the boundaries of Indian cinema." Meanwhile, Siddhant also has Phone Bhoot alongside Katrina Kaif and Ishaan Khatter in the pipeline. They announced the film just after the first relaxation of lockdown and since then, the buzz around the film is quite high. The motion poster teaser looked suite fun with the trio in black suits. Talking about the same, Siddhant said that he had a blast while shooting during the reading sessions of the film. "It's a hilarious script; we had a blast during the readings, there's going to be some solid jugalbandi between the three of us. We want it to be the next pop culture," he told Mumbai Mirror.
Furthermore, he also wrapped Bunty Aur Babli with Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan and debutant Sharvari Wagh. Opening on experimenting with different roles, the actor said, "I want to try new things, live all the characters that crowd my imagination. I don't want people to slot me, I want them to experience something new every time they enter the cinema halls."
