The Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh has turned 55 today and while we are seeing #HappyBirthdaySRK among the top trends on social with another related tags, daughter Suhana Khan wished the megastar with a cute throwback picture of 2019, where we also see her BFF Shanaya Kapoor, who is also celebrating her birthday today. Sharing the pic on her insta-stories, Suhana wrote, "Happy Birthday to my best friends lol' along with '55 & 21 hehe'. While every year Shah Rukh comes at the balcony of his Mannat bungalow to wave his fans on birthday, this time it won't happen due to pandemic crisis of COVID-19.
In fact, Shah Rukh Khan also told his fan to celebrate his birthday in a different way as he tweeted, "Please I recommend nobody should collect in crowds. My birthday or wherever! Iss baar ka pyaar...thodha door se yaar." One of Shah Rukh Khan's fanclubs has organised an event where a virtual Mannat will be created as it will give fans that they are standing outside the bungalow. In fact, a special made-to-order cake has planned for this occasion. Yash Paryani, one of the members of the fanclub, told Mumbai Mirror, "This year, we need to do everything virtually but ensure the celebrations are still grand, considering it's a festival for us. Fans will have virtual experience of being at Mannat from Sunday midnight through live streaming." When asked whether SRK will be able to participate in the event, he replied, "Even if he can't, I'm sure he will do something special because he loves his fans and treats them like family. Approximately 5000 fans from across the globe will come together for the virtual celebration."
As per the reports, SRK has Siddharth Anand's Pathan, Atlee's untitled next, Rajkumar Hirani's next and Raj and DK's untitled project. Talking about Atlee's project, a source to Mid-day, "Unlike those films however, here, the two characters are a generation apart. At the heart of the actioner is the father-son relationship, which is fractured by their polarising worldviews. The father is a senior R&AW agent, who is on a mission to capture his gangster son. Though the premise is similar to that of Ramesh Sippy's Shakti (1982), the stories have nothing further in common."
