Yes, we know that you'd have heard about this sometime back and even Gauahar Khan denied the same. But as per the report in the Times of India, Gauahar and Zaid Darbar are planning to tie the knot on Christmas eve! If this is true, we cannot wait to see Gauahar as a bride. Earlier, ETimes had reported that the actress will be marrying Zaid on November 22nd, however, their recent update states that the two love birds will be named man and wife on December 25.
A source close to the Bigg Boss 7 winner informed TOI that their families have shortlisted 25 December as the wedding date. And due to the pandemic, they would have a private and intimate ceremony with just close friends and family in attendance. The wedding will reportedly happen in Mumbai. Nigaar Khan who is not in India as of now will be flying here along with some other relatives. Meanwhile, rumours are rife that Gauahar and Zaid have already exchanged the rings. In fact, rumours also suggest that the ring that Gauahar wore inside the house was her engagement ring.
Earlier while talking to ETimes, Zaid's father, Ismail Darbar revealed that he was okay with his son's relationship with Gauahar. "If Zaid and Gauahar get married, why won't I give aashirwad to Gauahar? If Zaid wants to marry her, why would I object? Zaid is nearly 29, he knows what he's doing," he told the portal. Earlier, when the portal reached out to Zaid, he heaped praise on how Gauahar has acquainted with everyone in his family. "She has a very strong bond with my family and it's vice versa even they have. They love her and you have no idea how much they do. She is close to us but I feel the entire world loves her. My entire family, my dad, mom, sister, brother, everybody loves her. My younger sister adores her and she always says I want to be like Gauahar," Zaid had told ETimes.
Now, whether or not this is true will be known if we find pictures from Gauahar's wedding festivities surfacing the net.
