Neetu Kapoor has resumed worked amidst the pandemic with Jug Jug Jeeyo. She jetted off with her co-stars, Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Prajakta Kohli aka MostlySane. This happens to be her first project after the demise of her actor-husband, Rishi Kapoor, in April and the pandemic induced lockdown. While we are stoked that the actress is returning to work, it's a little tough for her as the emotions are still riding heavy. Anupam Kher, the dear friend of the Kapoor's recently met Neetu and put up a post for her, revealing how their meeting brought back their memories with Rishi Kapoor, leaving them teary-eyed. However, he added that by resuming work, she has just made him the happiest person.
Sharing some throwback pictures from his visit to New York, Anupam Kher, wrote, "Dearest @neetu54!! Meeting you last night in Chandigarh without #RishiJi triggered off so many memories of us together in New York. Our shared tears made the bond of those moments stronger. These pics are a reminder of how #ChintuJi had a larger than life persona. I am so happy that you are working. You have made him the happiest person by doing so. Meanwhile, earlier, when she was flying to Chandigarh, Neetu Kapoor had posted a heartfelt note, saying, "My first flight, in these scary times !! Nervousss for this journey !! While Kapoor Sahab, you aren't here holding my hand, I know you are with me .. #RnR thank you for encouraging me to do this..#jugjuggjeeyo."
A couple of days ago she shared a picture from the sets in which we see her getting the makeup done. She captioned the post saying, "Back on set after so many years. To new beginnings and the magic of the movies. I feel YOUR love and presence. From mom, to Kapoor Sahab, to Ranbir always being with me .. now I find myself all by myself, feeling a little scared, but I know you are always with me." Check out her post below:
