The American Music Awards 2020 American Music Awards 2020 also known as AMAs 2020 happened on Sunday night. The annual international music awards show took place in the US. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the ceremony was hosted by Empire star Taraji P Henson at Microsoft Theater for a live broadcast which was attended by a limited audience of invited guests in small groups from the same families. Taraji P Henson at the beginning announced that the audience members were sitting in a socially distanced manner and were tested for COVID-19. The Weekend and Roddy Ricch lead the nomination list with eight nominations while Megan Thee Stallion follows their lead with five nominations.
