So the latest episode of Bigg Boss 14 concluded a couple of hours ago. We saw contestants in a pair of two pitted against one another to earn their samaan (belongings) from the BB mall. It was a fun episode as far as the task is concerned. However, let's go a little back and talk about the night before. We saw Nikki Tamboli claiming that she won't perform any duties for the rest of the week. She was munching on the dinner table while Rahul Vaidya, Nishant Singh Malkhani, Jasmin Bhasin, Sidharth Shukla were seated and helping in work. Rahul tried to make her see reason but Nikki citing that she has certain privileges she won't work. She reasoned that her confirmed status has earned her the privilege.
This made the other contestants furious. Now, the house is divided into two groups. While Jasmin, Rubina, Abhinav, Shehzad form one group, Nikki, Nishant, Nishant and Rahul form another. Jaan who belonged to Nikki's group is now distancing himself as he not okay with people tagging his as Nikki's sidekick. Eijaz Khan, on the other hand, is running solo. Coming back to kitchen duties, Jasmin went and shared Nikki's statement with her group. Abhinav and Rubina strategises saying that the lunch will not be cooked if she does not perform the chopping duties.
On the next day, Nikki again states that she will use her privileges as the first confirmed contestant of the house and not perform any duties. It's all chaos as any contestant at a given time is adamant to perform only two duties. Nikki asks Rubina to chop in her place. However, Rubina cites her injury. Nikki does not give in and stays her ground saying that unless any senior or Bigg Boss himself tells her she will not perform any duties. Abhinav and Rubina are adamant that Nikki, irrespective of her confirmed status is an inmate and has to perform duties.
When seniors hear this, they discuss among themselves as well. Hina Khan, Gauahar and Sidharth are of opinion that not performing duties does not come under privileges. However, they do not solve the issue and let the contestants decide on themselves.
