The Narcotics Control Bureau has been investigating Rhea Chakraborty in the drug angle associated with the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. It seems she told them that she was into drug consumption but left after seeing the bad side effects. Rhea Chakraborty told the bureau that her parents were unaware of the fact that Showik Chakraborty and she did drugs. Rhea Chakraborty said that she consumed drugs occasionally after entering into a relationship with late Sushant Singh Rajput. She also threw some insights into the actor's alleged marijuana addiction. Rhea Chakraborty said that Sushant's addiction grew on the sets of Kedarnath as marijuana was freely available in the foothills of the Himalayas. She said it was very cheap and the whole unit would consume weed almost on a daily basis. This has been reported by Aaj Tak.
As reported by Aaj Tak, she told the NCB that both Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput gained weight after the shoot got over. This is because of the fact that weed increases appetite. She said that he got addicted after the shoot of Kedarnath. It seems it increased after the #MeToo allegations that surfaced in 2018. It is a known fact that weed helps reduce anxiety. Sushant Singh Rajput allegedly had anxiety issues.
Rhea Chakraborty told the NCB that she decided to end the relationship because of his alleged drug addiction. She said it increased during the lockdown. Apparently, she told the officers that she felt continuing a relationship with him would harm her professionally. She also felt that he was badly affected by the #MeToo allegations.
Well, as per reports when Rhea Chakraborty was initially asked, she told the cops that she left because she had slipped into depression and panic after looking after him. He told her to go to her place for a few days to recover. It seems she was upset as he did not ask her to wait when she was unwell. She left and blocked him on her phone. This was the first report. Later, she said she left because his sister, Meetu Singh had come and she prescribed medicines. This left her angry as he was already on anti-psychotics as suggested by his doctors. Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his Bandra residence on June 14, 2020.
