If the latest Bollywood news according to the grapevine is to be believed, then the to and fro that has been going on for almost eighteen months over the big secret that is superstar Shah Rukh Khan's next movie has finally been resolved. As per a report in Filmfare, Shah Rukh Khan will be teaming up with Director Siddharth Anand whose last film War, starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, was a Rs. 300 crore+ blockbuster for an action-thriller, titled Pathan. What's more, SRK is slated to return to his favorite production house outside his home banner, Yash Raj Films (his last YRF movie was 2016's Fan), who will be bankrolling the project. The exciting news doesn't end there though. The report further states that John Abraham has also been roped in to play the villain in the film, also marking his return to the Yash Raj stable after 2009's New York.
In fact, it was YRF that catapulted John Abraham in to the big league with 2004's Dhoom. Anyway, if this turns out to be true, it's indeed brilliant news, and well worth the wait for every Shah Rukh Khan fan. Nevertheless, it'll be prudent to curb our enthusiasm a bit with all the hearsay that has been flying around for so long about SRK's next movie.
Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan's wife, Gauri Khan, had opened up on Koffee With Karan about how the couple beautifully manage their different religions on. "There is a balance, I respect Shah Rukh's religion but that doesn't mean that I would convert and become a Muslim. I don't believe in that. I think everybody is an individual and follow their religion. But, obviously there should be no disrespect. Like Shah Rukh would not disrespect my religion as well," she had said.
