Kangana Ranaut's office, Manikarnika Pictures in Mumbai's Khar was demolished by the BMC. She was enroute from Chandigarh to Mumbai at that time. The lady had finished work on her plush office, four months ago. The BMC has razed the facade and there has been damage to the interiors as well. This decision of the BMC has enraged people in many parts of India. There are many existing illegal structures in Mumbai, and the BMC had made a rule that there would be no demolition till September 30.
Kangana Ranaut's mother, Asha took to Twitter to condemn the Maharashtra Government. She wrote, "Uddhav Thackeray, today you did not crush my daughter Kangana's office but the soul of late Bala Saheb ji Thackeray." Kangana Ranaut has also praised the late politician in some of her interviews. The spokesperson of Shiv Sena, Sanjay Raut also got a lot of flak when he called Kangana Ranaut a 'Haramkhor Ladki'. Some of the statements made by Raut have not gone down well with the public. He also said that late Sushant Singh Rajput's relations with his father KK Singh were not good after the latter remarried. The late actor's relatives slammed the statements as fake.
Kangana Ranaut said on Twitter, "There is no illegal construction in my house, also government has banned any demolitions in Covid till September 30, Bullywood watch now this is what Fascism looks like." The actress has spoken quite openly about the drug cartels operating in Bollywood. She has said that the swish set consumes drugs quite often and MDMA crystals are mixed with water and served in house parties. Several actors and actresses have slammed her for tarnishing the image of the industry.
